Can you take Tylenol Cold and Sinus for allergies?
[2007-09-04 04:29:36]

I have allergies and in the quondam Claritin and Allegra have done nothing for me. Tylenol Cold and Sinus (the behind the pharmacy counter stuff) has done wonders for my cold and I'm wondering if anyone has tried it on allergies?

If it has worked well for you in the biography it will probably help with your allergy symptoms (if they are cold like) as well. You may have better results with Tylenol Allergy tho.

When is Sick Too Sick for School?

You see it first fetich in the morning, a sniffle, some colored snot that rivals the crayon box and red, bleary eyes appearing up at you over a bowl of cereal.

"Mom?  I don't feel well."

You briefly think back to last night-time; it makes sense.  Crabby, tired, wanted to go to bed a skimpy early.  But the clock is ticking, there is no one lined up to stay familiar with with the kidlet and you are on a time table to get to work.  The last thing you take oneself to be sympathize like doing is calling out of work again, and using the last of the prescious under the weather time you have.  You hand reaches out to feel the childs' forehead.  Only a barely warm.  Oh, they will make it through school just fine.  Dialect mayhap it's just allergies.

It's pretty common knowledge that working parents be inclined to be the biggest culprit.  The decision to stay home using over-nice sick time isn't an easy one.  Especially if they are only sorta stricken.  I know it has seriously irked me when my kid started out with a sniffle and a cough and a fragile fever, only to refuse to stay in bed and any trace of warmth would be gone by ten am.

For myself, it can be a burdensome decision to make.  Not only is my sick time limited, it is often eaten up by my kids and then when I get odd, my time to get better is even more limited.  Which is to be expected of a working mom.

My daughter has asthma and allergies and sometimes it is as a matter of fact hard to tell the difference between an increase of her allergy and asthma symptoms and a cold, or the start of bronchitis.  I've kept her abode just in case, taken her to the doctor, only to be told it's all allergy and asthma, nothing they can do.  I've sent her to private school, thinking it was only allergies or asthma, only to have the nurse call two hours later and statement that she now has a fever, can someone please come get her.

It's not just my kids I have to think of when making the determination to keep them home from school and it's not just my sick time I have to consider when sending my kids to mould, even with a suspected illness.  A long time friend of mine since considerable school, Stefani Bush, has two kids who have an immune disorder and if either her son or daugther obtain into contact with another sick child, it can mean the difference of them missing a week or two of Lyceum, or a likely hospital stay.

A homely cold turns into a sinus infection or an ear infection that just won't quit and a 7 day sure of antibiotics turns into a month. A stomach virus turns into an ER fall upon or hospital stay. The flu could be life-threatening.
